So true. People of that era did not need victory, their win was hidden in their heart and their glow shone all around them for us to bask in it when they are there and yearn for it when they are not. Cherish the memories & thanks for sharing.
Nice tribute to Mirza sahib. My earnest desire is that his wish of spreading love should succeed although under the present circumstances it seems like a lost cause. May souls like him inspire others to give love a chance over hate. Best wishes to you and your family to get over the sad demise of Mirza sahib. May his soul rest in peace.
I know it is difficult to talk of people we love in terms of loss and legacy and yet that is what we are often left with. Hope you and the family find whatever helps through this time. And that all of us can draw some solace from that legacy of love and service.
Deepest condolences Natasha! Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raajioun. From Him we came and to Him we return, is the ultimate truth and our destiny. And yet we can never be prepared enough to lose our loved ones. I see the picture of my Papa in your loving departed one. He is with us Alhamdulillah, but is 80+, and we fear the ultimate reality :( May He grant you, and the family, patience to sustain this grave loss.
Such a beautiful write-up, it reminded me of my grandfather and his journey. Thank you for writing this and sharing it with us. Condolences and love to you and your family.
