In fact this is an old trick I have used on myself, to hypnotize and anesthetize myself in hills to forget the pains and aches of an arduous climb, a long trek, a difficult day. Awww I love streams! You are our brook, Natasha :)) Funny you should write about a different name for yourself. I was driving alone this last weekend and thought to myself, "If I could associate a symbol, a virtue to myself, what name would I pick?!" I was always fond of 'Mehendi' when I was young. My older, new self though, instinctively came up with 'Ishq' :)
Loved it. Our life has become too purpose driven, we hardly have time to look back. Remembering requires time, effort, space & writing it so beautifully requires patience & sincerity. Thank You.
We all have feelings going on to become emotions. To express the same in words, may not be everyone's cup of tea.
People learn to live with their past, have no control over future & advise each other to live in the present. But how many are able to do so. We all live in the past, as all our stories are layered there only. To make your readers delve into your past is a quality, which not many have.
