I read this jumping through the lines first time when you published it here a week back. Then I went back to your book and took it in slowly like home. This is everything I love about your writing Natasha. The warmth, the playfulness and all the hidden directions your words pull me into.

Thank you Natasha for writing this essay for all of us. Home is where it's complicated.

During my college years, I had figured out that the ideal duration for visiting home was 2-4 days. One day was too less, two days was usually fine, day three was when I would start getting triggered, and four days was the limit.
